Region Research

Wine regions are amazing places – the opportunity to travel to the source of where wine is made, to experience the place and the people behind the bottle. They are usually pretty beautiful places too!

Travelling to wine regions is what really turned my love of drinking wine into a real passion. I love visiting and learning everything that goes into each bottle of wine – it really makes you appreciate every sip.

Australian Wine Regions

There are 65 wine regions in Australia alone and each region has it’s own history, geography and with less rules here in Australia (compared to much of the “Old World”) about what can be planted where it means there is plenty of variety in terms of grapes and wine styles too.

As I travel around Australia exploring the glorious wine regions here I wanted to share some knowledge, of course some wines, but also some tips on where to visit, stay and eat!
